Urban Retreat

Midwest Telegraph offers this day-long retreat as a space for slowing down, feeling and connecting with empathy. It is for those who are moved to provide a collective response to the damage that racism causes. Cutting through the conditions that divide and mis-inform us, the day-long retreat brings together local community members to strengthen practical skills for ally ship and anti-racism work. We will use meditation, restorative justice talk circles, panel discussion, Karuna practice, and creative exercises to sharpen insight and manifest gentleness. This is a space for healing.

Price: Sliding Scale $50 to $75. $25 for students or unemployed. Scholarships and work-study available. Ask about our generosity policy. Contact: MidwestTelegraph@gmail.com
